Basic Bells

Hello loves!! I hope everyone is having a great week!

I've been enjoying having so much free time this week because I actually got promoted at work and will begin working full time next week!! Writing this blog and sharing my fashion obsession with all of you has been such a blast and I have so many ideas for new posts. I know I'm about to get a lot busier, but with some good time management I will definitely keep up with the blog!! Anyways, let's focus on today and these lovely bells!!

For the past few weeks these blue jean bells have been my go-to pant and I just had to share! I love the vertical lining down these bells and the way that they accent and lengthen the legs, and the color is perfectly blue (obviously these babies can be worn with anything)! I might have also bought them in black because I was so obsessed... but they are just that wonderful!

Since it was a beautiful day out I paired the bells with a flowly, thermal tank from Free People, along with a raspberry strappy back bra. Since the look seemed a little dull for my style I couldn't help but to throw on the most elaborate necklace I own. I love this coin collar necklace by Chanour (also carried by Free People) and the character it brings to any outfit. I threw on one of my favorite black hats from Nordstrom and it was perfect for the day!

Live by the Sun

I seriously can't get over this summer weather!! I have been out in the sun every day and it makes me so happy! You know what else makes me so happy? THIS DRESS!! I am totally obsessing over this Free People buttonfront dress. The dress is light and thin but so beautifully made. There are lacy details, slimming hem lines, and a sheer panel along the bottom that looks amazing in the sunshine. When it's this nice out the dress is perfect over a little white slip for a simple maxi look. However, I love the dress unbuttoned with some jeans or shorts (which I will definitely feature in a later post).

I threw a beautifully patterned kimono from Brandy Melville over the dress, and it makes the look effortlessly pretty. I also love to play around with this kimono, tying it up so it hits at the waist line or letting it float around me and fall off the shoulder. Either way, I love these two pieces together for an easy (and very hippie) look!

Hope everyone has a beautiful weekend!! xo

Flynn Skye

Hello lovely readers!! So, here in San Diego the weather has been AMAZING!! It feels like summertime already and I'm absolutely loving it! Although I love myself some cozy winter weather, I was born and raised in paradise and am truly a summer girl. I feel most comfortable in a cute summer dress or some little shorts and a tank, so I jumped at the chance to feature a summer piece in a post this week!

I know it's only February...but I can confidently say I have found the perfect summer dress! This dress is by an adorable line called Flynn Skye, and I can't get enough! Their dresses are to die for, especially with weather like this! I totally splurged on the dress, but I love it so much and I know I will get so much wear out of it. The little sleeves are so cute and can be worn either on the shoulder or off the shoulder. I have worn the dress both ways and I included pictures of both below.

I paired the dress with some chunky wedges from Urban Outfitters that add just a little bit of height and make the look both comfortable and totally adorable. I also decided to feature a few silver jewels with this look. The silver bracelet and silver hand piece are both from St Eve Jewelry and are so much fun to throw on with any outfit.

Oh, and the flowers!! I loved playing around with some sunflowers with this look. My wonderful boyfriend got me a bunch of them for Valentine's Day because he knows they are my absolute favorite and it was so much fun to carry these beauties while I ran around in the sunshine!

Valentine's Casual

Hello lovely readers!! Well, Valentine's Day is quickly approaching and I thought I would share another look I love for the night, hopefully providing some inspiration to all of you when you're picking out your date night look. Although a fancier look with a dress and heels is great for this special night out, a little more casual look can also be the perfect way to go!

If you still want to be a little dressed up I think it's important to stick with black jeans, because blue jeans are definitely more casual. I paired my black jeans with a simple pair of little black booties by Dolce Vita. I also love the idea of still pulling in a red or pink piece (since it is Valentine's Day). I threw on an adorable red velvet tank (I know, me and my velvet...) with a slight v-neck line. I pulled it all together with a beautiful gold waterfall necklace from Free People. This necklace definitely makes a statement, but is still girly and delicate in its own way.

I hope everyone has an amazing night (whether you're out with someone you love or watching fifty shades of grey with your best friends)!!

Red Lips and a Maxi

Happy Valentine's week everyone!! This week I want to focus on some date night looks for this weekend!! I am so happy I will get to spend the weekend with my wonderful boyfriend, and I can't wait to dress up for date night, so I thought I would share some of the looks I love! Today I'm featuring red lips and a maxi dress with chunky heels.

I think red lips are pretty much a must for Valentine's Day, along with some curly hair and an outfit to kill. Maxi dresses are so fun, comfortable, and an easy outfit. I bought this maxi from Free People a while ago, but I thought it was perfect for a Valentine's look. The strips of lace, along with the slits up the sides make this dress the perfect fancy (and sexy) piece for a night with the person you love. I paired the dress with a silver Lucky Brand necklace (had to go silver with the grey and black dress), and some chunky heels from Urban Outfitters.

This look would be adorable with a shawl thrown on top or a light sweater if it gets chilly. I hope this outfit gives some of you some inspiration for your date night look this weekend!!

Romper Time

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week! I've been super busy with work, but I had to find time to wear this pretty little number out in the sunshine. I picked this romper up from the cutest little boutique in Del Mar called VanDeVort. I love the bell sleeves and the floral print on the dark wine color. I was also so happy to find a romper that's long enough for my tall body and has the perfect waist line. I love how versatile rompers can be, dressed down during the day and up at night. My best friends are coming down for a girls weekend this month and this piece will definitely hit the town with me one night!

I paired the romper with a simple little choker and some strappy heels from Free People. I also couldn't resist throwing on my fur vest for another look. I know it makes the look so seventies, but I'm totally loving it! The vest has been super fun to play around with, throwing it over black jeans at night, and wearing it with something short during the day. I definitely recommend investing in one if you haven't already!
